Not that I'm ever on Neopets anymore (seriously... I try to stop by once and awhile and I just get bored) but our forum has been deleted due to misuse and abuse from auto-spammers.

It was a nasty business that I had to delete it, but I'm sure you didn't want to see pictures of nekkid people anyways. Sheesh.

So... You all remember the conversation and poll for what I was going to do with the giant roll of paper...

Sadly, we didn't get to take any photos or video. But, we got an insanely hilarious story out of it!

The setup: St. Patty's day. Mr. Moo, Jared, Dawn, Rob and I are driving around after checking out the activities downtown. We start the evenings events by grabbing random "For Sale" tent signs on peoples lawns and put them in other peoples lawns. Hahaha! We then stumble across a few "Detour" signs. Thinking it'd be hella hilarous to snag a detour sign, I toss it in my car.

So, we're driving around random neighborhoods and I get this great idea! Put the paper in the middle of the road with a detour sign at the top of the paper!! It's brilliant, brilliant, BRILLIANT!

The prank: We find a random street that's kind of quiet and pull up outside of this random house. Very stealthily (and probably giggling really loudly) we pulled the paper out of the trunk and the sign out of the trunk. Jared wanders off to answer the call of nature. So, I'm unrolling this giant roll of paper in the middle of the street and...

CAR!!! A car whips around the corner, totally busting us. We all freak out and jump in the car and take off. But... where's Jared?! We accidently left him behind!!!

So, we return to the scene of the crime and pick up Jared, who's run up the street a ways. As we pass the paper roll, someone from the house came out and was dragging it away.

There goes our roll of paper... D=

OR SO WE THOUGHT!

The aftermath: Little did we know, there was a RANDOM invoice that fell out of my car with our company address on it! OMG!

So, yesterday, my manager gets a call from the person who says this:

"We received a delivery for your store but some kids trashed it. What did you want me to do with it? I'm in reno."

The manager replies: "Well, you can drop it off at the closest store to you and they'll bring it down to us, but I have no one to come and pick it up right now." (We're in Carson - a 30 minute drive from Reno).

So, the customer drops off the roll of paper and the invoice to the Reno store closest to her.

Today, we had a special delivery arrive at the Carson store. It was the invoice. I asked Angie what it was for and she replied: "A customer brought this from Reno to our store and asked me to bring it to you."

Interesting. So I picked up the phone to call the delivery company to tell them that they had royally screwed up. Not knowing that it was concerning the roll of paper, I inquired more. "What did the -delivery company- deliver it there for? Did she bring the paper back?"

"No. She said that a couple of kids thrashed the delivery. All she brought back was a giant roll of paper that had been stepped on, torn, and just trashed."

*coughgigglecough* I quickly put two and two together and hung up the phone.

As you may have heard, Lynda left the guild yesterday. *sniffle*
